At Recipes by Sahar, we believe food is more than just a meal, it is a story, a memory, and a feeling of home. We are Sahar and Ahmed, originally from Pakistan and the proud owners of the “Recipes by Sahar” food truck.
As the name suggests, Sahar is the heart and inspiration behind this journey. Her passion for cooking began at home, where she learned authentic Pakistani cooking from her father. Over the years, she developed her own unique style, combining traditional flavors with warmth, creativity, and attention to detail. Friends and family always admired her incredible talent in the kitchen, which eventually inspired her to start sharing her recipes online through cooking videos.
What started as a passion soon grew into something much bigger. Sahar launched a home-based Pakistani restaurant in Enschede, serving freshly prepared meals during weekends. The response from both international and Dutch customers was overwhelmingly positive, encouraging us to take the next step.
In late 2025, Recipes by Sahar expanded into a food truck business at the Saturday market in Amersfoort. Since then, we have been proudly serving authentic Pakistani street food and homemade specialties in the heart of the historic city.
Ahmed began his career as a researcher and now works alongside Sahar as her right hand, helping with the vision behind the business, logistics, customer experience, sales, and marketing. Together, we combine passion, creativity, and hard work to bring authentic Pakistani flavors to the Netherlands.
Our goal is simple: to serve homemade, authentic, and flavorful food at fair and affordable prices, because we believe everyone deserves good food that brings people together and keeps them coming back.
